Villi are small, finger-like structures in the small intestine. They help to absorb digested food. Each villus has micro-villi which increase the surface area of the intestinal walls. A larger surface area allows nutrients to be taken in more quickly.

Functions of villi :-
We've already stated that the small intestine's main job is to absorb nutrients from the food you eat and that your villi help by increasing the surface area the intestine has for absorption. ... The villi also contain vessels called lacteals.

Location of Villi :-
small intestine

Heya.......✋
Small finger like projections found in our small intestine are known as villi.
The function of villi is to increase the surface area of the intestine so as to increase it's capacity to absorb nutrients and liquid from food passing through it.
Hope it helps:)
