Answer:VNTR ( VARIABLE NUMBER OF TANDOM REPEATS ) are satelite dna that shows high degree of polymerphism . VNTR are used as a probe in dna finger printing . immobilised fragments are hybridised with a vntr probe . vntr will vary in size from 0.1 to 20 kb. hence , the band of diffrent size will be obtained.
