Hello...

Water cycle is a process in which water of the oceans or seas evaporate and the water vapour rises up. As the water vapour reaches up, they cool down and form clouds. When this process goes on continusly there are lots of water vapour in the sky. When the clouds become heavy enough, they fall down back to earth in the form of rain, snow, etc. which we call as precipitation.
This process is continuous, as through the precipitation water again fill up seas and oceans again it get evaporated and then again clouds and precipitation.
This is a non-stop continuous process which we call as Water Cycle.

DEFINITION 2
#. it may also be defined as a process of cloud formation and precipitation which results in the formation of various types of water bodies which in turn evaporate again to continue the process
