hii there!!
The water cycle is called the hydrologic cycle. In the hydrologic cycle, water from oceans, lakes, swamps, rivers, plants, and even you, can turn into water vapor. Water vapor condenses into millions of tiny droplets that form clouds. Clouds lose their water as rain or snow, which is called precipitation.

Hello friend,
Here's your answer: (©)
Water Cycle is a combination of many processes from Evaporation to Precipitation.
Steps involved:
First, the water from water bodies gets evaporated and collets it into atmosphere. Humidity increases.
Next, so much collected water vapour in high altitude is called cloud. This process is called Condensation. These clouds at a certain amount become so heavy and these come down in the form of rain. This process is called precipitation.
Now, some of the water infiltrates ( going to underground to the water table and ground water) and other some remains and some other roles away to water bodies. Again this whole big process repeats and repeats. This repeatation of processes is called a water Cycle becuase it is about water. Or other name for it is Hydrological Cycle.
Hope my answer is helpful.
