A wavelength is a measure of distance between two identical peaks (high points) or troughs (low points) in a wave -- a repeating pattern of traveling energy like light or sound

Hope it helps:)

viku77: sound is wave of which type?
Ashley234: A sound wavetraveling through air is a classic example of a longitudinal wave
viku77: i think longitudinal wave is sinusoidal
viku77: can u give xample of transverse wave?
sweetyverma595: electromagnetic waves are transverse in nature
viku77: thanks@sweety
