Gram mole is same as mole.

Molecular formula of water is H2O.

You have one mole of water,

H = 2 moles of atom = 2g

O = 1 mole of atom = 16g

So, adding the two we get the weight of one mole of water, which is 18g.

Answer:

1.8 gm

Explanation:

Given that ,

To find the weight of 0.1 mole of water.

Molar mass :- The mass of one mole of any atom or molecule is equal to its atomic molecular mass in grams.

Water:- It is composition of hydrogen and oxygen in the ratio of 2:1.

            Its molecular formula is H2O.

∵ 1 mole of H2O weight = 2×1 + 16×1

                                       = 2 + 16

                                       = 18 gm.

∴ 0.1 mole of H2O weight = 18/10

                                           = 1.8 gm

Therefore, 0.1 mole of H2O = 1.8 gm.
