Weight

✴Weight is a kind of force.

✴ The force with which the earth attracts a body is called its weight.

✴The SI unit of weight is newton(N)

✴Weight is also measured in kilogram force(kgf) It is the force with which one kilogram mass is attracted by the earth.

✴1 kgf = 10N

✴The weight of a body is equal to the product of its mass and the acceleration due to gravity.

✴Weight = mass× acceleration due to gravity.

✴Weight varies from place to place

✴It is meausred by a spring balance.

✴It is the force of gravity acting on a body.
