Electrical MotorThe electric motor is a device which converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. There are mainly three types of electric motor. All of these motors work in more or less same principle. Working of electric motor mainly depends upon the interaction of magnetic field with current.
The modern-day generator works on the principle of electromagnetic induction discovered by Michael Faraday in 1831-32. Faraday discovered that the above flow ofelectric charges could be induced by moving an electrical conductor, such as a wire that contains electriccharges, in a magnetic field.
