Answer:
Much less diverse, and terribly Black and White, in my opinion.
You see, India is one of the very few cultures in the world which has a tradition of ‘Professional Communities’ . Let me explain what a professional community is
Historically, certain communities in India have excelled in certain kinds of work The foremost example f this would be the Gujjus and Marawaris (Ambanis, Birla etc..). Obviously, this is because their cultures have reared them in such a way, that they have been conditioned from birth towards the ‘community profession’ Of course, this has also had some shameful ramifications, apropos the caste system.
Most other cultures you will find are monotonous. Some are only warriors, some are only businessmen, and so on. Indian culture was an exception with the fact that for centuries, cultures conforming to all professions existed simultaneously. This helped India to tide over times of crisis because each contributed according to his specialty in different forms of situations. The diversity of cultures has led to a strong and independent India today. This is the reason that Indians are the fastest today in leaving behind stereotypes and bias in the dust.
we are an enterprising people, and Indians going to other countries have been known to grow rivers out of deserts. We are generally law abiding.
But the most beautiful thing we do, when we go overseas, is that we not only ceaselessly melt into the local culture, but also bring along our own, for additional seasoning. And that seasoning tastes GOOD.
Without us, the world would be bland. It would be Spice- less, it would be much more divided, it would be not-meeting-your-family-except-Christmas lonely. It would be eerily quieter.
