Floods kill more people and immediately destroy much more than drought. They are devastation-dense if you like. By orders of magnitude I'd say. And fairly sudden and unpredictable.

Floods are bad, but drought hits worse.

Floods don't cause much destruction as the drought as , drought can even lead to famines and lead to starvation. Floods are atleast manageable to an extent but they can cause an endemic.
