What is wrong with following equation--> C + O = CO2

C + O2 ------> CO2

O2 will come in place of O

Hey mate here's your answer.....

The thing that is wrong with this equation is that it only contains one atom of oxygen.

While it should have 2.
So the correct equation would be...

C + O2 = CO2.
