mthe yellow part of egg is know as yolk

Yolk sac is an early embryonic membranous structure found in vertebrates, which covers the fetus and provides nourishment to the growing fetus during early period of development. It is the first structure to be visible during pregnancy, but is slowly absorbed completely by the growing fetus.
