THIS IS MY OPINION ABOUT SPIRITUALITY
It’s a hard nut to crack. “Spirituality” has been thrown around like a volleyball for a few decades, in some cases more. What I’ve observed is its preference over “religion”, as if that softens the strict discipline of belief.
So from my perspective any attitude involving the connection between a personal consciousness and the “everything” operating around it should constitute spirituality.
Beyond that, it’s a strong, connecting sensation in your mind and your chest and possibly your whole body with all else that exists, or is purported to exist, has been scientifically proven or suggested to exist, with all conceivable permutations, theories, doctrines, or practicalities (and more).
Different for every human, and I’ll go out on a limb to say that it’s probably associated with non-human psyche as well, as intuition, a natural feeling about what is.
As much of a cop-out as the word defines, spirituality covers a lot of territory, belief or nonbelief, and can serve to bond humans together. Non-humans don’t need that crutch.
