Ausable the Secret Agent looked very dull and boring. He lacked the lustre of a secret agent as romanticised by Fowler. In fact Ausable appeared to be a total contrast to the likes of a secret agent. On the contrary, Ausable was extremely intelligent and observant.
He was a perfect sleuth even though he didn't fit into the common garb of a detective. His intelligence and perfect timing saved him from the shrewd detective Max.
