What is your perspective on the proposed 'no homework policy' bill?

Personally, I think that proposing such a bill is absurd. Indeed the teachers and schools should acre for the needs of the students and give them that such homework which they can complete. They should only be given that amount of work which they can complete. Its bad to make it impractical for students to complete homework every weekend. But, why do I find this bill illogical or absurd is because I believe that practice is key to learning.

Explanation:

For instance, if you expect a child to not do math at home? Then how will he learn anything. How will he familiarize himself with different problems and importantly how will he know what things he understood and what he didn't.

This policy generalizes that students from kinder garden to 12 grade, whether in public or private schools, should not be getting any homework. I think this just makes it difficult for the kids in the future.
