Give two differences between a zygoteand a foetus. (i) It is a fertilized egg formed after the fusion of the sperm with the egg. (ii) The zygote divides several times to form an embryo. (ii) It is a stage of the embryo that shows all the main recognizable body parts of a mature organism.

A ZYGOTE : is a fertilized cell. This means that after fertilization of the sperm(male gamete ) and ova or egg( female gamete) the first new cell formed is a zygote.

A FOETUS : is a stage of the embryo (developed zygote), where the zygote is developed and almost all the body parts of embryo are recognizable
