Democracy is the type of government where there is freedom of expressing one's views. In this government, there is no monarch (or king) to rule the country/kingdom.

Democracy is a free form of government. It is better than any other form of government because in democracy people enjoy freedom of speech and expression and right to vote which is not present in any other form of government.
