Palampur is a hypothetical village which is lying in the bulandshashar district of western Uttar Pradesh.It is 3km from Raiganj(A big village)and the raiganj road further connects it to shahpur,the nearest small town.All kinds of transports are visible on the road from bullock carts to jeeps and trucks. Palampur has two primary and one high school.There is one government hospital and a private dispensary where the sick are treated.Electricity powers the tubewells used ny the farmers and also other electrical appliances in the village. The total land area of palampur is 226 hectares out of which 200 hectares of land is used for cultivation.75% people of the village are engaged in farming whereas the rest of the village people form the non-farm sector of the village.
