Cross pollination takes place when the pollen grains are transfered from the anther to the stigma of different flowers. It is carried out by different agents. The cross pollination facilitated by wind is known as anemophily and those carried out by animals such as insects, birds, bats and other mammals is known as zoophily.

Hope this helps,

Answer:

Wind

Explanation:

Pollination is when pollins from one plant are transferred to another plant. It's a sexual method of reproduction in plants as there is a male plant and a female plant involved. It is often done by the insects (example bees). But when we say 'non-living forces', there is involvement of the wind.

The wind carries the pollins from the male plant to the female plant so the female can reproduce. If the pollins are carried on to a male plant to a male plant, nothing happens to the pollins. And the same is the case with females plants.

Remember, sexual reproduction is only possible when there is there is the meeting of the males sex cells and the females sex cells (possible by pollination).

Hope this helps :)
