Answer:

Taj Mahal is situated in Agra. There are many industries present near Taj Mahal due to which it is known as Industrial Region.

After Colonization and Industrialization many industries developed there. Due to this large number of trees were cut on large scale and thereby having no control over pollution at that place.

Due to this the place got polluted from all types of pollutants thus resulting in smog. This smog on reaching the atmosphere got mixed with rain and resulted in polluted rain known as acid rain.

This acid rain on reacting with the calcium carbonate walls of Taj mahal resulted in the yellowish colour change on the walls. So this is the danger faced by Taj Mahal due to local industries with no proper control of pollution.
