Any external force like Friction force, centripetal force etc which can accelerate the body and displaces it from one places to another.

Anonymous: Frictional force does not accelerates a body but always decelarates it

any kind of force can accelerate the motion of object. like moving of a cart by horse here muscular force is required, and in the same way we need frictional force for walking etc...,so, as the newtons first law mentions-every object will be in resting position until some net force is applied on it.so, for the motion state of any object we need net force and for accelerating the motion fo object any kind of external force is required.

hope this helps.
