What kind of illness caught the child helen ? What type pf experience was it for the child?

Helen Keller was attacked by a sudden illness called ' The Congestion of the Stomach and Brain '.   Many renowned doctors also said that it must have been Scarlet Fever or Meningitis.   She was only two years old and the main reason behind her blindness and hearing disability.   She would cry in pain throughout the day.
