- Solids have tightly packed molecules, liquids have slightly loosely packed molecules and gases have more loosely packed molecules.
- Here term solubility means ability to mix in something
- Solubility is minimum is solids as they do not have any intermolecular spaces between them
- Gases and liquids have intermediate and maximum solubility respectively.
