what kind of mirror will use as a rear-view mirror? why ?

The convex mirrors are used as a rear view mirror, because it has a wider field of view even though the image produced id diminished.

convex mirrors are used as rare view mirrors...becoz they diverge the light rays and its field of view is more it is mainly used in car mirrors
