in a composit pit all the waste products of plants which are able to be decomposed, like twigs, leaves etc can be added. also all biodegradable waste such as cow dung, dung of horse, donkey, can be added and decomposed.

All the Organic Waste which can be decomposed by the action of microorganisms can be discharged in a compost pile or pit.
