the Neolithic people worshiped the Mother Goddess, goddess of earth fertility, who also represented the life cycle of plants: she died and disappeared in cold times and was reborn in the spring. The Mother Goddess is the mistress of nature, the protector of animals and crops. She used to be represented as a small clay statue that could have the shape of a girl or a woman giving birth.

Heya friend!

In the neolithic period, people used to worship Prakriti ie. Nature.

They were pantheists and considered nature to be a treasure house filled with rich resources such as trees, plants, medicinal herbs, fruits, flowers etc. Prakriti, the mother goddess or mother earth is considered as supreme as the Purusha, represented by Shiva. The female form of energy was embodied in nature itself and like a mother, she satisfied the needs of the people. People made clay models and sculptures based on their imagination and tried to give "the formless "(Nirakar ) a female form (Akar ) .

Hope that helps you!
