The Bolsheviks had ordered the redistribution of land and the Russian army began to break up. Soldiers wanted to home for redistribution and deserted. Non Bolsheviks like pro tsarists and liberals moved to South Russia and organised troops to fight the Bolsheviks and this rivalry between Bolsheviks and Non Bolsheviks gave rise to the civil war in Russia
