the reasons for the decline of indian textiles are
1.after industrial revolution britian started producing machine made textiles which are often of good quality and cheaper than indian textiles
2.textiles from india had high demand in europe so british passed strict laws and british banned import of textiles in britian
3.also india had no support from the colonial british government
