The Russo-Japanese war proved for the whole wold that Russia is backwards and cannot win a war against even smaller forse, like Japan, on own territories. Russians lost faith in their Tsar. Thay did not want to fight, die or even live under hes authoritarian rule.
Russians were tiered of the conditions of living in russia. Many very farmers who even could not read. The factory works did not have right minimum wage. People hated their government for that.
Communist terror attacks made people fear for their lives. Russians did not believe that their goverment could defeated that. The russian goverment could not defend itself.
