There was a very bad harvest in 1830's and then along with that the population at that time was also increasing . since, the population was increasing , the demand for job was increasing and it was leading to unemployment . All the people who lived in rural aera started coming in the urban area for settlement which let to increase in slumsand that led to lack of sanitation and also in some areas aristocracy continued . These all reasons led to widespread pauperism in Europe .
