the lesson ' two gentlemen of Verona ' is about two children Nicola and Jacopo who seems to be poor with their shabby appearance. But they are gentlemen in a true sense .
Their dedication towards work and usefulness to narrator and his companion proved them gentlemen.
they were diligent to meet their earnings and for the treatment of their ailing sister. they did various jobs ( selling wild strawberries, worked as guides, brought American cigarette for narrator and the name of a good restaurant).
Thus can be concluded that beside their poor and shabby appearance they were gentlemen in a true sense.
