Kaspar, a German peasant , is caring and considering. He lives with the tromen of the battle of Blenheim is uncertain if should disapprove of the event. His heart moved with the pity of the soildiers and commoners who died in the battle and also remembers how his own family was uprooted and had flee for their lives. As commoner as he is , he buys the words of high and mighty and continue to apprise his grandchildren that it was a great victory. People like Kaspar don't have their own views . They are made to believe what the superior class intend them to know.
