The nightingale was flattered by the frogs boastful claims she thought that he was a great music critic so she was easily influenced by the frog

The Nightingale was overconfident because of the applauses she used to get in the Bingle Bog. She was highly used to unrestricted applause she used to get from her melodious songs.


Moreover, she was greatly prone to influence and believed that if a Mozart like him (the frog) would come to teach her, she would be a great singer. Therefore, she felt proud about herself and thus became overconfident.
