Valli developed a desire to relish a ride on the bus and as desired she had made the journey by saving money for a two-way ride. However, on her return journey, Valli witnessed a horrific incident that spoiled her mood and she kept to herself all through the journey

• On the way to the town, while travelling by bus Valli had witnessed a frightened cow running for its life in the center of the road. It was vigorously hopping with tails up, and when incessantly bus driver honked nonstop the cow’s scamper became more furious.
• Valli on seeing this was unable to control her laughter and clapped gleefully. However, on her way back from the town, Valli had witnessed a terrible incident. The cow that she had seen during the onward journey had died in an accident. Valli felt sad at the cow’s plight and kept mum all through her journey back home .
