what makes helen jealous of the newly born baby . explain her reaction to see newly borned baby in her house

Helen was jealous of the newly born baby as her mother was always with her younger sister.
When the baby wasn't there her mom spent most of the time with Helen but as soon as her sister entered Helen felt like her mom was only with her.
