what makes plant more rigid than animal cells ? why do they need to be more rigid?

cellwall makes plant cell more rigid.
they need more rigid because they cant move in extreme conditions so they need to be more rigid to be proyected..

The cell wall of a plant cell in a plant makes it more rigid than animal cells. The cell wall constitutes of cellulose. It is required by the plants for structural support and protection. Cell walls also have filtering mechanisms as one of their functions.
