The election makes it democratic because any person can stand for election without any discrimination. In the democratic country election give chance to select their representatives directly by the people by practising one person one vote on value. Elections are conducted are free and fair . There is a code of conduct for each candidate which has to be followed during elections . If they not their nominations get cancelled. For better and fair conduction of elections there is independent election commission under jurisdiction of chief election commissioner, appointed by president of India and he cannot get removed before his tenure. Every candidate/ party has to listen or follow the instructions of election commission. Therefore election makes democratic.
