The maximum taxes which were introduced on the third estate or the peasant. The high rate o bread and the maximum price to be sold to the government of their harvest. Some of the main taxes were Tithes and Taille. Soon the third estate recognized the inequality and partiality of paying taxes as only the third estate had to pay the taxes, the first and second estate were free from taxes. This was the begining of the French Revolution.
