what mass of agno3 will react with 5.8g to produce 40.35g of agcl and 8.5 g of nano3 if the law of conservation of mass is true?

Please answer fast I have to submit it tomorrow

We know that,

AgNo₃ + NaCl = AgCl + NaNo₃

The law of conservation of mass states that  mass can neither be formed or created and stays constant in a closed system. This chemical reaction is a closed system. The initial mass of materials with be equal to the final mass. As silver nitrate is a precipitate and almost insoluble the reaction is pretty complete.

Let x be the mass of AgNo₃

Hence ,

x + 5.8 = 40.35 + 8.5

=> x = 43.05 gms

Hence mass of AgNo₃ is 43.05 gms.
