what mass of BaSo4 is formed if 3.5g of Bacl2 and 4.2g of Na2So4 reacts together provided one of the product formed is 2. 2g of NaCl​

Chemical Equation:

Na2SO4 + BaCl2 ---------> BaSO4 + NaCl

According to law of conservation of mass,

Sum of mass of reactants = Sum of mass of products

So,

4.2 g + 3.5 g = 2.2 g + BaSO4

BaSO4 = 2 g + 3.5 g

BaSO4 = 5.5 g

Hence,

mass of BaSO4 = 5.5g
