manu was heating oil to fry potato chips the cooking oil all of a sudden poured fire he poured water to extinguish the fire do u think thus action was suitable.?if yes why? if not,why not? in such a condition what should Manu have done

No. Because water is not suitable for fires involving oil.Manu should have switched off the flame of the burner and put a lid on the frying pan. By doing this the contact between fuel and oxygen is cut off and the flame will go off.

⏺️No this action is not right because oil has less density than water so if she sprays water on it then the water would settle down and the fire would not be extinguished.

⏺️He would have poured some sand over it to extinguish the fire.

⏺️Or put a blanket on it , he may also put it off by using fire extinguisher.
