Explanation:

Given,

Mass of NH3 = 55g

Mass of N2=?

Eqn - 3H2 + N2 -------2NH3

From the above eqn

We can say that,

2moles of NH3 requires 1 mole of N2

1mole NH3 = 1/2 mole of N2

So,55g NH 3 = 1/2 × 55 N2

55g NH3 = 27.5 g of N2

So, 27.5g of N2 is required to form 55g of NH3.

Ans is 27.5g of N2
