Hii friend,

here is your answer => => =>

H.C.F

h.c.f means => Highest common factor.
Let us consider two number 8 and 12
The factors of 8 are => 1, 2, 4 and 8
The factors of 12 are => 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12

We can see that 1,2 and 4 are the factors which are common to both 8 and 12.

Out of these common factors, 4 is the greatest.

The greatest number which divides two or more numbers exactly without leaving any remainder is called the highest common factor.
(h.c.f)

In short, highest common factor written as H.C.F . It is also called the greatest common divisor (GCD).

Now LCM

l.c.m means => Lowest common multiple

Lowest common multiple is also called the least common multiple and is written as LCM.

Let us consider the multiple of 4 and 6.

Multiples of 4 are 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36......

Multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42......

The number 12, 24, 36, .... appear in both the lists of multiples. They are the common multiple of 4 and 6.

Out of these common multiples, 12 is the lowest (least). We call 12 as the L.C.M of 4 and 6.

Thus, the LCM of two or more numbers is the smallest among all their common multiples.

The smallest number that can be divided by the given numbers without leaving any remainder is called their lowest common multiple. (LCM)
