The following measures are needed to be adopted to remove poverty in India -

  • Spreading education : A large amount of population of the India is still illiterate, for different reasons. Due to this illiteracy, the chances of unemployment or underemployment, are increasing, which are becoming a major factor behind the poverty of the India. We need to spread education to the every corner of the country in order to decrease the illiteracy caused unemployment.
  • Expanding employment : We know that our country's population is extremely large. But, the employment scopes are still very limited. We have to increase the amount of employment in each economic years. This will surely help us to remove poverty from India to some extent.
  • Raising the value of INR : In comparison to the other foreign currencies the value of INR is decreasing heavily. We have to take necessary actions to reverse this process in order to strengthen our economy, as well as to remove poverty.
