Constitution provides Right to Freedom and hence ,judiciary has the power to interpret the constitution of the country.

•Judiciary can review law and actions.

•The Supreme Court has ruled that the basic principle of constitution cannot be changed by Parliament.

•Supreme court acts like a Guardian to Fundamental Rights.

•They can determine the constitutional validity of any legislation or action of executive ,when it is challenged before them.

This is judicial review.

•Judiciary is known for being independent of legislator and executive and hence is non-partisan.
