This poem tries to convey two important aspects of life. One of the aspects is short life span of power and glory of a human being and another aspect is the sheer vastness of the mother nature. The poem conveys an message that everything in this world is time-bound and not immortal. Even the mighty and the powerful cannot escape from ravages by time

Time is the powerful. Time spares no one. It is the most unfaithful. No one can become immortal by getting monuments erected in their rememberence.
