what might be the reason that covid-19 cannot be treated by antibiotics and world needs a vaccine to be developed to overcome this pandemic?

Because covid19 is not caused by bacteria.. Bacterial diseases can be cured by antibiotics.. COVID19 is caused by a virus of SARS family..
