the lysosomes enzymes are of great importance .they digest phagocytosed food particle s and also involved in the autophagy (self eating ) . they also help in extra cellular digestion . so, if these enzymes are absent then all this will stop and it can result in diseases .

The main fuction of lysosomal enzymes like lipases ,proteases, carbohydrases is to hydrolyse/digest various unwanted material in the cell. And sometimes to digest some nutrient in the cell.

These enzymes are capable of digesting carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acids. Lysosomal enzymes are produced by a memberane bound cell organel called lysosome.

WHAT IF LYSOSOMAL ENZYMES ARE ABSENT:

==> If lysosomal enzymes are absent then build up of various unwanted substances increase to a abnormal level, which may increase toxicity in the cell.

==>build up of various dead or unwated cells in the body will increase, since lysosome have the capacity to digest its own cell.

==> absence of lysosome will will cause the cells to starve, since most of the nutrients in the cells are digested by lysosome enzyme.

==> Can cause a high risk of disease, since lysosome digest its own cell if it is infected with some microbial activity.
