Answers
Answer:
In this story of "The enchanted pool", a part of the "Mahabharata", the moral revolves around how it is important to obey the laws and listen.
The one who obeys the social norms and laws will truly be the one in benefit. And that warnings must be paid attention to, for life is a test.
Explanation:
In the story there is Saint Vyasa who is the narrator. He talks about the life of Pandavas who were exiled for 13 years.
One day, one of the Pandavas, Sahadeva discovers a pool and is about to drink water when Yaksha, i.e the owner of the pool forbids him to.
He doesn't listen to her and still drinks the water. As a result, he ends up unconscious. All of the Pandava's do the same mistake, one by one when they come looking for each other. However one of them doesn't fall into this trap.
Yudhisthira, the remaining Pandavas and the eldest one, listens to the warning and obeys Yaksha. He then answers questions in exchange for his brothers.
In the end, it is revealed that Yaksha was God Yama; who had created this scenario to test the dharma of Yudhishira.
