Given :  3x²− 4y ²    and  1

To Find : What must be subtracted from 3x²− 4y ²    to get 1

Solution:

Let say N should be subtracted from 3x²− 4y ²    to get 1

=> 3x²− 4y ²  - N =  1

=> 3x²− 4y ² = 1  + N

=> 3x²− 4y ² - 1  = N

Hence   3x²− 4y ² - 1    must be subtracted from 3x²− 4y ²    to get 1
